Branden is a PMHNP-BC in outpatient and child-PHP – child/adolescent population, young adults, autism spectrum, and neurodevelopmental/organic brain disorders (specialty focus). Mr. Taylor has been in nursing for 12 years to include: direct practice, administrative, and education.
Prior to that, he was a bench researcher at Yale University (Laboratory Medicine) – (published in Biochemistry, the journal). He then switched gears and did clinical research working on social factors in post-op ambulation motivation and from there grounded himself in working with patients from a psychosocial standpoint.
He has worked in inpatient, outpatient, PHP, IOP, residential (adolescent), consultation/liaison psychiatry in medicine/acute care, psychiatric consultative in pediatric oncology, psychiatric ER settings, crisis intervention, and provided psychiatric consultation in subacute physical rehab and long-term care facilities, and IOP/PHP adolescent substance use treatment programs.
With 10 years of expertise in Human Resources, Suzanne Hixon is a results-focused leader who delivers talent acquisition, compliance, and ethical solutions that help companies harness the power of one of their most valuable assets – their people. She is dedicated to creating a robust culture that promotes balance and loyalty by empowering and motivating employees to realize their full potential and bring their best to their job.
Starting her career in the non-profit sector, Suzanne first gained experience and knowledge at the Arc of Loudoun. Over the next 4 years, she helped shape the company’s core employee programs. She overhauled the employee appreciation program and recruited senior leadership.
In 2018, Suzanne joined the Government Contractor community and joined CTR Management Group. Here she grew into an HR Manager. She spent her time in this role by improving employee engagement, HR’s response time and service quality, as well as shepherding the company through the changing requirements during a global pandemic.
Now, in 2023 Suzanne joins No Excuse’s Culture. She is bringing her talents in talent acquisition, compliance, and employee engagement to ensure the mission of the Wellness Center and Mind over Matter thrive through their employees.
